With its operation in full swing as a specialty foundation contractor also performing grading, excavation and concrete work, JG began offering turn-key communications site design and construction services to its customers.  Using the experience of its principals and relying on their unconditional commitment to quality and safety, JG was able to attract a quality work force of over 100 employees and quickly build a reputation as one of the premier (self-performing) wireless services contractors in the eastern United States.

JG Contracting Company, Inc. began its operations performing work mostly associated with shallow and deep foundation systems.  The company’s principals had previously worked for a specialty caisson foundation contractor and had completed a combined 30 years of caisson foundation and driven pile construction.  JG began designing and installing caisson tower foundations for one of the nation’s largest communications site developers.  In addition to designing and installing caisson foundations constructed in all types of sub-surface conditions, JG quickly moved into designing and installing every type of tower foundation including mat, pad and pier, driven steel and concrete piling with pile caps, stranded and solid element rock anchored mat and others.  Owners and engineers rely on JG’s experience and expertise for consultation on foundation design and construction applications in every type of subsurface soil mantle.

JG also has experience in design and construction of earth retention systems and slope remediation.
